YLNT Head Groundskeeper Jason Permenter recently celebrated his birthday. We had a problem: our Aunt Nancy is a great drink, but it’s more of an afterwork trouble-drowner, not as appropriate for special occasions. So for this party, Patrick “The Canadian” Gibson and Maja “The Not-Canadian” Henderson whipped up a fancy version of everyone’s favorite alcoholic spinster-in-a-glass:
The Great Aunt Nancy
Muddle about 8 cherries, then add
3oz Bourbon
1oz Lemon juice
Pour into a giant, elaborately-shaped glass
Top off with Champagne
Garnish with a skewer of Mentos and a buffalo wing.
Enjoy with friends.
Swear to God—this drink is delicious.
